MBA Forecasts Increase in New Home Sales

January 18, 2012, The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) released their monthly Mortgage Finance Forecast.  In their forecast the MBA made the following predictions for New Home Sales for next several years.

By Year-End 2012, the MBA expects new home sales to rise to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 330,000, which represents an increase of roughly 11% compared with the most recent quarter.

By Year-End 2013, the MBA expects new home sales to rise to a seasonally adjusted annualize rate of 425,000 which represents an increase of roughly 43% compared with the most recent quarter.
