February 7, 2012 – The Federal Reserve reported Consumer credit increased at an annual rate of 7-1/2 percent in the fourth quarter. Revolving credit increased at an annual rate of 4-1/2 percent, and non-revolving credit increased 9 percent. In December, consumer credit increased at an annual rate of 9-1/4 percent.
