FRB Survey – Credit Standards for Credit Cards Eased

January 30, 2012, The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve announced the results of the January 2012 Senior Loan Officer Option Survey on Bank Lending Practices.

Credit standards for credit cards eased for the quarter.  84% of respondents said that standards remained basically unchanged. 14% of respondents said that they had eased somewhat.  Where as 2% said they had tightened somewhat.
