NAR Housing Affordability Index Improves
February 8, 2012, The National Association of Realtors released their Index of Housing Affordability for the month of December 2011.
The index rose from 194.5 to 194.9 for the month. This figure represents a new 31-year high. The average index reading since 1970 has been 122.
