Steven Schipper, CFA
Managing Director

Steve founded LendTrade, Inc. in April of 2000.  He brings over 20 years of financial services industry knowledge.  Prior to forming LendTrade, Schipper was vice president of structured finance with AmerUs Capital Management. At the time, AmerUs Capital was a Registered Investment Advisor responsible for managing approximately $11 billion in assets.  While with AmerUs, Schipper negotiated the acquisition of home equity portfolios, and negotiated and closed whole loan sales and securitizations of both commercial and residential mortgages. Steve holds a finance degree from the University of Iowa, an MBA from Drake University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Heather Bakker
Operations Manager

Heather joined LendTrade in May 2005. Her responsibilities include assisting with managing account relationships as well as accounting and operations for LendTrade.

Prior to joining LendTrade, Heather gained numerous years of accounting and operations experience while working for a variety of mortgage and insurance companies. Heather holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the American Institute of Business.
